Houdini Tuftgen SOP v3.0 HDA

Houdini Tuftgen SOP v3 HDA is a node that can grow and shape curves. In that sense, it is somewhat of a pseudo hair system, meant to be a versatile tool for generating all sorts of plant-like, fur-like, maybe even feather-like, and filament types of geometry and whatever abstract craziness your mind can conjure. It is geared towards the technically savvy!

For those of you who already have v2.1 or earlier, this is an almost complete revision which, sadly, isn't backward compatible.

Here's a sneak-peek focusing on curve framing and instancing. A new feature in v3 is the instance matrix (second half of the video) which addresses scaling and rotation variation of point instanced geometry (you have to instance that yourself) independent of curve framing (i.e. orient).

If you decide to buy this tool, know that the amount of control it offers comes with quite a bit of a learning curve. I will provide some examples and short demos as I've done before. That should help.
