Haki's Tools
This HDA removes or masks prims or points that fall outside a camera frustum.
It also builds a geometric frustum representation from a perspective matrix (the proper way) which is available on Output 2.
Controls
The operator allows you to override (override switches in v2.0 only) the following Camera SOP parameter values:
- Near Clipping
- Far Clipping
- Screen Window X/Y (Window Offset)
- Left Crop
- Right Crop
- Bottom Crop
- Top Crop
In addition, you can:
- Overscan
- Write Z depth values to the geometry on Output 1.
Output 2
A frustum geometry is available on output 2. Each side is named.
Known Issues and Limitations:
On output 2, near and far clipping planes are UVed, however, you may get unexpected stretching if you use cropping and overscan at the same time. The left, right, top, and bottom faces of the frustum geometry are not UVed. To be addressed in a future update.
